Splendid Communications appointed global Greenall's Gin consumer account

Reigning International Spirits Challenge Gin Producer of the Year, Quintessential Brands Group, has appointed Splendid Communications as its lead integrated agency to create a new brand identity, and oversee brand activation through PR and social for its iconic flagship brand, Greenall’s, the Original London Dry Gin.

 

Tasked to increase Greenall’s brand awareness and connect with a wider audience in the brand’s 260th anniversary year, Splendid Communications has kicked off with the development of a new global brand identity and proposition for the UK gin distillery and next month will begin a 12-month programme in the UK consisting of always-on social and launching their summer and festive campaigns.

 

With a multi-channel team combining creative strategy, PR and digital to reach and engage UK gin lovers and enthusiasts, Splendid will be Greenall’s Gin’s new PR and social agency of record, having previously looked after its communications in-house.

 

As well as crafting a new content strategy and communications framework for Greenall’s in the UK, Splendid will be developing a global brand toolbox bringing to life the strategy and creative ideas globally through its key markets.

Greenall’s is handcrafted by G&J Distillers, England’s oldest continuous gin distillers based in Warrington, North-West England. The original recipe for its Original London Dry Gin since 1761 has remained unchanged and has been closely guarded by just seven master distillers over its 250-year history.
