We’re Harrison Carloss, and we’re so incredibly pleased to have won twice at the Dougie Mac Business Partnership Awards. Not only were we awarded a Gold Partnership Award, the team were also thrilled to pick up the Supplier Excellence Award, given to businesses offering reduced prices and complimentary services making a significant impact on the hospice's expenditure

For anyone not in the know, the Dougie Mac Business Partnership Awards 2022, which took place at the bet365 Stadium on Thursday 5th May 2022, were held to celebrate the incredible levels of support for the hospice’s valuable work provided by local businesses across Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire.

The awards are a way for the hospice to applaud the businesses who donate money, time, services or gifts to provide an integral and much–cherished pillar of income for the hospice. It’s thanks to this support that the excellent care for which Dougie Mac is renowned can continue.

As supporters of the wonderful work that Dougie Mac is rightly applauded for, Harrison Carloss were only too pleased to donate and lend our time and creative resources to this deserving cause.

And as it happens, as part of our 50th year celebrations we had already decided to donate 50 hours of our services free of charge to our charity of choice - which was Dougie Mac.

We provided marketing and other creative resource support to help the hospice’s invaluable work by designing and producing Dougie Mac’s new website.

While we’re thrilled to have received these awards from Dougie Mac, the award they gave us isn’t about us. It’s about being able to support the extraordinary work the hospice, its dedicated staff and many volunteers put into providing the care and support of a warm, friendly and peaceful environment, both at the hospice and in a family’s home.

It's about the fact that, every year, Dougie Mac provide all of their hospice services free of charge to over 3,500 local people with life-limiting illnesses in Stoke-on-Trent, North Staffs and the surrounding area.

Each year the hospice needs £15.4 million to maintain all services with 76p of every £1 spent directly on care services.

Without the generosity of the local communities of Stoke-on-Trent and North Staffordshire, Dougie Mac simply couldn’t survive.
