Altar Group has used the following skills/services in the project.
Avian works with The Iris Initiative and The John Byrne Award to create awareness of the their ‘Values’ based proposition.
As a charitable organisation, The Iris Initiative provides a forum for the development, debate and promotion of personal and communal values. As part of Iris, The John Byrne Award provides the above through an online arts based competition and forum for 18-30 year olds. It encourages a deeper understanding of the values that drive personal beliefs and actions through creative expression.
As a consequence of The John Byrne Award’s strong links to creativity and the arts, the initiative became known as more of a commercial Arts Prize. This resulted in the core mission of the ‘exploration of values’ within submissions being lost.
Our solution was to create a revised overarching brand under the umbrella name ‘The Iris Initiative’. This allows Iris to explore future avenues to engage with sectors out-with the creative space. As a result the new structure has allowed The John Byrne Award to live, breathe and importantly retain its independent identity, as part of The Iris Initiative umbrella brand.
