INK Digital and NextBigThing launch London's iconic Leadenhall Building website

19th July 2013

Following our recent partnership with creative branding company NextBigThing, we’re delighted to have launched a new website for London’s iconic landmark, The Leadenhall Building.

Nicknamed ‘The Cheesegrater’ due to its distinctive profile, The Leadenhall Building is the latest incredibly innovative project for commercial real estate companies British Land and Oxford Properties.

The clever INK guys and gals developed a media microsite including newsletters, press releases and an image gallery offering users the ability to view and download multiple images. We then created a ‘private’ stripped down version of the site for viewing on touchscreens at the Conference for Tall Buildings, which we completed within extremely tight timescales. Finally, we launched the finished site three days earlier than required and ready for the building’s main milestone, the Topping Out Ceremony.

Features include a clever responsive layout with auto scaling image galleries, interactive maps, interactive building floorplans displaying the numerous views available on each individual floor and downloadable PDFs of spaceplans and floorplans. There’s also an image upload function for inclusion on the Leadenhall Building Pinterest boards as well as scrolling Twitter feed and Pinterest board widgets.

We’ve loved working with the team at NextBigThing on such an exciting and innovative project for British Land and Oxford Properties and look forward to working on more joint projects with the company in the future.
