Now is the time to embrace Multi-channel E-Commerce

Are you making the most of your e-commerce opportunities?

You have an e-commerce website, that’s awesome. It’s selling well, but how do you take it to the next level of sales? Spend more money on Adwords, have a well rounded social media strategy? Have you considered hooking your site up to the various marketplaces that exist to sell your goods?

By Marketplaces, we mean fundamentally, Amazon, Ebay and Google Shopping.

Amazon – the world’s leading e-commerce website, sells products itself but a significant amount of what it sells is direct from sellers just like you, and the software exists to connect up your e-commerce website to Amazon itself to feed it with your products and let people buy directly on Amazon. The orders can even sync into your e-commerce store so that you see it all in one place, and you even have the option to join the Amazon Prime system for fast deliveries. It’s hands down the biggest change you can make to your e-commerce business that expands your market considerably and won’t cannibalise your existing e-commerce sales.

eBay – Much like amazon, you can synchronise your products into eBay, and sell directly through that platform. 10 years ago, eBay would have been at the top of this list however now it’s not used quite as much but depending on industry it can work really well and it has a loyal following of users that primarily look to eBay first before searching online for the products they are after.

Google Shopping – So whilst, not technically a marketplace, it’s a Google Adwords product, many people searching products on Google don’t go past the shopping results which are the items at the top of the results list. Clicking on any of those, costs you money as Adwords would, but brings the user directly into your site. It can be a very cost effective way to increase sales in your e-commerce store quickly as fundamentally, if people have clicked through, then they have seen your product and the pricing and have intent to buy, so it’s a qualified lead.

All of the above can be integrated with your Wordpress Woocommerce Website and we have implemented this for many many clients over the years, so if it’s something that you think would take you to the next level just get in touch and we’ll discuss how it works.
