Itineris awarded three international standards

18th December 2019

After months of blood, sweat, tears, hard work, gallons of tea and some tweaks to our processes and policies, our agency is now the proud owner of three international standards that show our commitment to quality, the environment and information security management.

We have been awarded the following prestigious standards by ISO Quality Services:

ISO 9001: 2015 – Quality
ISO 14001: 2015 – Environmental
ISO 27001: 2015 – Information Security Management

We have developed quality, environmental and security management systems and put new process in place in order to obtain the three certifications.

But what are they and what do they mean for our customers?

Quality

This standard is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process approach and continual improvement in everything we do. We also have to monitor and audit all of our process and activities.

ISO 9001 ensures our customers get consistent, good quality services from our agency. This standard is all about putting our customers first.

Environmental

ISO 14001 ensures we are properly managing our environmental responsibilities and the aspects of our business that have an ecological impact.

From public transport use to client meetings and suppliers of our office equipment to the data centres we use, our standard shows we care and have the correct processes in place to mitigate any environmental issues.

It’s good for our employee engagement and for our legal and regulatory compliance, too.

Information Security Management

ISO 27001 is all about controlling risks to our business so our systems, technology and data are as robust as they can be.

It helps us keep our systems and our data safe from external and internal, intentional and unintentional threats. Our Information Security Management system provides added reassurance that we are securing information and staying ahead of new threats.
