New brand launch for leading full-service digital agency, Cantarus

22nd February 2023

Manchester-based full-service digital agency, Cantarus, has launched its new brand identity. The new brand reflects the scale and sophistication of the business and its ongoing desire to help ambitious clients get more from digital, while also representing a milestone moment for its ambitious national and international growth plans.

The brand launch comes just as the agency looks forward to its 20th birthday in March 2023.

The new branding launched publicly on 21st February 2023, following significant development of the agency’s Manchester head office to create a more contemporary, innovative, and collaborative workspace. The new brand launch is spearheaded by a new logo and website, backed by a rich suite of creative assets.

The core aim of both the new brand and website was to better articulate Cantarus’ positioning and service offering, reflecting the changes across the business over the past several years. Cantarus has a laser focus on delivering deeply engaging experiences built to the highest engineering standards. The new website clearly communicates Cantarus' identity and what it stands for, with simple yet compelling design and engaging messaging.

“This is an exciting time in Cantarus’ history. Our business has evolved enormously since its launch back in 2003, and our brand and website need a complete reinvention to reflect that,” said Lee Adams, CEO at Cantarus. “We are now clearly established as a market leader in creating digital experiences that bring organisations and their customers closer together, and enjoy a hard-won reputation for combining innovation, consultancy, design, and engineering to produce stellar outcomes for our clients.”

Overseeing the rebrand, Rob Helsby, Head of Experience Design at Cantarus, added:

“Rebranding your own agency is always a challenging and exciting process. We looked to engage as many people as possible, running internal workshops, sending out team-wide surveys, conducting 1:1 interviews with teammates, and reaching out to our client partners to understand what the business means to people. It was important to us to build a brand that really resonated with its audiences. We established our core values of Innovation, Passion and Integrity, which were relatable to everyone within the organisation.

From key messaging to lightbox office signage, we are really proud of the journey we have taken and how far we have come as a business. Cantarus are on a mission to reframe the whole concept of what we can achieve for our clients via digital, and we can’t wait to see where the next 20 years takes us.”

Cantarus is a Prolific North Top 50 Digital Agency partnering with clients from a variety of sectors spanning membership, education, and charity, and delivering deeply engaging digital experiences. Their extensive client list includes British Army, Royal College of Physicians, WHSmith, British Cycling, Worldpay, The Law Society and Office for Students.

Adams added, “We’re really excited about this launch and about the future of Cantarus. We’re certainly heading in an extremely exciting direction. We think our new brand is outstanding and reflects both who we are today and who we aspire to be tomorrow.”
