Altar Group has used the following skills/services in the project.
To commemorate the opening of ‘The Queensferry Crossing’, the third bridge over the River Forth, Avian
was approached to create an ‘all inclusive’ brand that would consolidate the identities of the Forth Bridges
as a leading Scottish tourist destination. The biggest challenge facing our design team was how
best to represent the vastly differing structures of the three bridges visually. It was paramount the creative
solution respected each bridge structure to give equal visual prominence in the resultant graphic device. An
illustrative logo solution respectfully acknowledges the individual character and importance of each bridge to
create 3 individual identities that worked in harmony to promote the attraction’s offering.
On completion of the brand development a broad range of branded merchandise was created to sell as souvenirs
across stores in Edinburgh. A multipurpose website was also created to provide visitor information but also advise
of traffic status and closures.
