Suttons PLC

Timeframe: Present

In Jan 2012 Suttons asked us to review their PPC activity across their full portfolio of gardening brands. Across Spring/Summer 2012 we overhauled their PPC across thousands of SKUs & turned PPC from a cost to a sales & profit driver. For Spring/Summer 2013 Suttons' board signed off a PPC budget 3x that of 2012 in the expectation that it would deliver significant ROI. So far Search Star are exceeding their targets.

Luton Airport

Search Star in 2010 were appointed to manage Luton Airport's parking PPC vs. an incumbent agency. Historically Luton Airport had run PPC without much success & was instead allowing 3rd parties to dominate it car park search. Search Star assisted the Commercial Manager in preparing his financial case, gained board board approval & ran a successful test. We are now managing aggressive & successful PPC activity to dominate the parking search & maximise Luton Airport's revenue & profit

Bristol Airport

Timeframe: Present

Search Star have been managing Bristol Airport's PPC account since October 2008 with the aim of increasing the volume of direct parking bookings and reducing the costs. In our first month of management cost per booking fell 27% and bookings rose 8% month on month, against a seasonal decline in passengers.

Liverpool Airport

Liverpool Airport (The Peel Group Ltd) weren't running PPC when they approached us in early 2011. We launched the campaigns in June 2011 and since then they have seen their share of direct parking bookings increase. We now also work with Doncaster Airport (also owned by The Peel Group Ltd) and look forward to continued success in 2013.

247 Spares

Timeframe: Present

247 Spares are the UK's largest car parts sourcing company. Search Star took over PPC from an in-house team in 2007 and reduced cost per lead by 45% across the first 60 days. From this initial success we developed a close working bond. 5 Years later & we still enjoy a close relationship managing PPC and supervising their outsourced SEO.

Direct 365

Search Star have provided comprehensive PPC marketing support for Direct 365 since 2012. Initally, we worked on lead generation campaigns for the B2B services offered by Direct 365 - everything from hand dryer rental to pest control. Alongside this work, we then helped the Business Services firm successfully relaunch their ecommerce site, with an optimised Google Product Listing Ads campaign proving particularly effective.

Bright Minds

We have worked very closely with this online toy retailer since 2007. They have excellent catalogue coverage and use our services to deliver incremental non brand sales for them using ppc advertising. They consider us to be an arm of their business and they trust us to ensure that their ad spend achieves a high return on investment.

Fred. Olsen Travel

In 2012, we were appointed by Fred. Olsen Travel to manage all PPC activity for their GoCruise travel agency. Our task was to generate sales leads for a wide variety of within the highly-competitive search space of the cruise industry. Using our previous experience of the cruise industry together with a number of innovative Adwords tools, we achieved immediate reductions in cost-per-click yet managed to greatly increase click and conversion volume - a much much more effective and efficient campaign all-round.
