Eve Deasy

About

Eve's 18-year PR career has been spent in the great city of Manchester, Eve spent several years working for city centre PR consultancies on big consumer brands including:

  • Aga range cookers
  • Thornton's Chocolate
  • Marks & Spencer
  • Big D Peanuts.

Eve then moved in-house where she worked in The Co-operative Food's press office for 10 years, at the organisation’s head office in the Green Quarter.

Eve's experience has provided her with second-to-none contacts across consumer magazines, national newspapers and supplements and regional paper and websites. Many of the editors and writers are on first-name terms after a decade and a half of story sell-ins, desk visits, launches and media events.

Career highlights include celebrating 10 years of Fairtrade chocolate for The Co-operative by commissioning a coffee-powered vehicle to beat the land-speed record at Woodford Airfield in front of a host of journalists (which received global, national and regional press coverage) and achieving a full-page article in The Sun for a Big D peanuts survey on the nation's favourite TV bar moment.  Eve was also part of the teams that turned Aga pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and organised the first ever Boddingtons Sports Forum in Manchester, where the city’s sports fans were able to ask their sporting heroes questions.

Eve's unbridled enthusiasm, knowledge of her target media, and hands-on, friendly approach with journalists means that she delivers impactful press coverage in the right places for her clients.
