RELAUNCHING A CLASSIC
The original Nokia 3310 is a classic handset that feels worlds away from the smart phones of today. Nokia were looking to launch a new version of the handset, but the challenge we faced was who would want this upgraded piece of nostalgia and how could we get staff fully briefed on a phone from the past?
The Nokia 3310 is one of the original iconic mobile phones and people loved it because it worked. The new re-imagined Nokia 3310 is here to champion that original belief in making phones that didn’t let you down but that also behave differently. Nokia position is as the phone designed for original thinkers and originators.
We developed a launch campaign which positioned the new reimagined Nokia 3310, as for the originals. Essentially the same well-made phone, reimagined and refined for today.
FOR THE ORIGINALS
We created an original design-led campaign as iconic as the phone itself, launching across multiple touchpoints and formats, including OOH, digital and retail in multiple markets. We also engaged the global sales force with the Nokia Tribe app – giving staff instant access to the latest news and info, downloadable assets and e-learning modules.
