Electric Vehicle Scheme

Doing our bit for the planet doesn’t start when we walk through the studio door anymore. In October 2022 we signed up to The Electric Car Scheme. This means that our team can lease an electric vehicle as part of a salary sacrifice initiative.

In over a year, just one electric car on the roads can save an average 1.5 million grams of CO2. That’s the equivalent of four return flights from London to Barcelona.

We are constantly looking for ways to reduce our carbon footprint and this plan to tackle the commute is a huge leap forwards for all of us.

What is an EV Scheme?

Like a Cycle to Work scheme, we lease an electric car of the staff member’s choice and the employee uses some of their gross salary to cover the cost. The fixed monthly payments come out of the salary before any income tax or National Insurance is paid.

Any staff signing up received a bonus on the first month to cover their first payment. This means that our journey to work just got greener!
