Carlos is the Founder and CEO of Social Misfits Media. In addition to Social Misfits, Carlos is also the Founder of philanthropy, CSR, and fundraising consultancy I.G. Advisors and he is the Co-Founder of technology for social good company, Lightful. Both Social Misfits Media and I.G. Advisors are proud B Corps.

Carlos started his career as a major gifts fundraiser at the New York Public Library, and holds an MSc from the London School of Economics and a BA from New York University. He has served on a variety of Non-Profit Boards. He’s fluent in Spanish, an avid sci-fi fan, and father to very rambunctious boy-girl twins; Carlos failed to convince his wife Alisha of the benefits of naming them Luke and Leia.
