In order to gain more organic traffic, we knew we needed to get the LFT brand in front of people searching for Premier League and football tickets in the UK. To achieve this, we had to increase the site’s exposure by acquiring as many top-tier backlinks as possible.
Competition within the online sports and football space is notoriously high, with events, such as the Premier League, drawing interest from the UK and beyond in terms of news, statistics, and ticket sales. Data is already widely-available for sports journalists, therefore our Digital PR strategy needed to be innovative, unique, and interesting enough to cut through the online noise and grab the attention of those writing about football-related topics.
Our strategy centred around two main approaches in order to attract the eye of sports journalists and get the LFT brand featured in the most authoritative publications from the world of football:

SEO tool SEMrush highlights a significant improvement in organic visibility since we began working on the LFT website. In January 2018, there were 676 keywords ranking in the top 3 of the SERP, compared to 5,144 by September 2022.
Between January 2018 and September 2022, organic revenue also increased by 613.03%.
