Andy McLaughlin

About

Andy gained his BTEC HND in Technical Illustration in 1993, starting his career working on military vehicle publications.

In 1995 he set himself up as a freelance commercial graphic artist, honing his artworking skills by creating technical illustrations and information graphics for a wide variety of clients. Commissions included work from design agencies, industrial clients and consumer magazines, as well as doing in-house shifts as an artworker in a busy creative studio.

He has also created designs for Fleet Street, working on several national newspapers – with their fast paced and unique environment, Andy enjoyed contributing to the teamwork required to achieve the fast turnarounds necessary.

Leaving the self-employed world behind for a staff position at KISS in the autumn of 2018 was no small decision for Andy, but he says he’s thrilled to add his skill set to the team.
