We are excited to announce the launch of the new website for local voluntary organisation Sheffield 50+.

The charity is run by and for its members and is open to everyone aged over 50 who lives and works in Sheffield. The new website will act as a signpost to a wealth of organisations, information and events for the target audience in a simple and clear way.

The website will be self-managed by the charity and its volunteers so an easy to use content management system was essential. We have worked closely with the charity to ensure the CMS was easy to use and as our websites are bespoke we have been able to build the CMS around the requirements of those using the system on a day to day basis.

An easy to read news section and events area enables staff and volunteers to keep readers up to date with what’s going on and any useful information that may affect them. The events can also be sorted by postcode to show events in the area, a great tool for users who prefer to stay close to home.

This website is a great tool for engaging with the target audience and we hope it helps towards building a strong voice for the over 50’s network.
