Enigma Interactive has used the following skills/services in the project.
Our long-term relationship with the RSPCA began in 2009 – since then we’ve worked on award winning websites, games and video interactives which have been used to help this important national charity spread their key messages across the country.
The RSPCA’s education and outreach team offer free training and support for professionals who work with children and young people. They were relying on a dated flash website and were desperate for a new site to help them continue to engage with young people in a relevant and meaningful way.
What we did
Enigma built a fully responsive site that has been specifically designed to appeal to broad range of young people from Key Stage 1 (5-7 year olds) through to and KS2 (7-11 year olds).
The site has a simple navigation, bright colours and friendly hand drawn illustrations to appeal to such a wide student age range. It also responds and adjusts to best suit the device it is being viewed on whether it’s a school computer, a tablet or mobile at home.
Each section has a mix of important key messages which are delivered in a variety of engaging formats whether via video, quizzes or short interactives. Throughout there are opportunities for students to download and keep personalised certificates showing their achievements and support of the RSPCA.
The site also has links to the RSPCA’s social media accounts and is a key part of the education and outreach teams’ toolkit which they use to reach over 20,000 students every year.
