OUR TASK
In launching Xero’s first sports sponsorship, the aim was to not only bring attention to the Lioness Partnership and the FIFA Women’s World Cup sponsorship but to also leave a lasting impact on our target audience.
Target Audience
‘Goal Getters’: Self-employed individuals with a deep interest in women’s sport and the upcoming Women’s World Cup.
INSIGHTS
Our research showed that our ‘Goal Getters’ were frustrated that they had to seek out women’s sport content due to the lack of interest by the broader media channels. It was our job to help excite and create a buzz around the largely ignored (at the start of tournament) Women’s World Cup.
OUR SOLUTION
Think Big, Dream Bigger: We utilised impactful media to showcase Xero’s partnership support with the Lionesses and World Cup. Big sponsorship deals with major media outlets with deeper content created to please our target audience.
OUTCOME
5% increase in Xero brand prompted awareness
