Our First Campaign Media Award

At d19 we recently won our first Campaign Award, recognising the work we implemented with our client Material Focus; a recycling initiative encouraging electrical reuse and proper disposal. At it’s heart, our work was nothing more complicated than looking at current human behaviour, and then using media to address the barriers that stopped people doing what we wanted – recycling electricals. All it required was an understanding of what people are currently doing and what messaging and channels can change that behaviour in the way we want. No data stack, no algorithms or automation, just a bit of human understanding. Simple and fundamental, but apparently novel enough to win an award…
