Royal College of Psychiatrists

Time frame: Past

We all believe that taking care of yourself and your mental health is super important, so we were thrilled to work with the Royal College of Psychiatrists to put together a manifesto ahead of the Senedd Cymru election in 2021. The bright colours, bold fonts and simple illustrations show that mental health discussions don't need to be dull and boring. The eye-catching manifesto will hopefully secure the funding and help our amazing clients support the people that are so deserving! "Jess and her team have been fantastic, again! We've recently launched a strategy and now we have some excellent and creative design that really compliments. I really appreciate the lengths the team went to in order to understand our work and the sector that we work in. Looking forward to more projects in future." The Royal College of Psychiatrists

Welsh Government

Time frame: Past

We had the pleasure of working with the fantastic people at Wales Cooperative Centre & The Welsh Government to develop a brand for their Digital Heroes campaign. For many children and young people, using technology comes easily. The campaign aims to train them to become Digital Heroes so that with their help, they can change people's lives. DCW is a Welsh Government funded programme which is delivered by the Wales Co-operative Centre in partnership with the Good Things Foundation and Swansea University. Digital Communities Wales: Digital Confidence, Health and Well-being exist to reduce digital exclusion in Wales. We want a Wales where everyone has the skills, access and motivation to be a confident user of digital technology. "We've just finished yet another project with Jess and the team. Having had some truly awful designs produced for us in the past, I approached Jess with some trepidation. I need not have worried - the team nailed the brief and produced excellent work which communicated complex messages in a clear and fun way. Our whole team are very excited about the new materials and I have a list of future work which I will happily be putting their way." Wales Co-operative Centre

Welsh Cycling

Time frame: Past

After hearing Jess (chief wizard) give a talk about the importance of storytelling in a digital world, Welsh Cycling had an inkling that she and her team could provide the direction they needed as they embarked on a major overhaul of their communications strategy. Initially, they were just after some social media assets, but Tiny Wizard's in-depth assessment of Welsh Cycling's online presence as well as its presence in the real world, revealed that there was work to be done at a fundamental brand level. Tiny Wizard began their magic by developing a visual brand identity that reflected Welsh Cycling's values of integrity and excellence. From proper logo usage to colour palettes to imagery styling, the brand guidelines detail every visual element needed to create consistency and communicate leadership across all touchpoints.

Oscar Kilo

Time frame: Past

Oscar Kilo is the home of the national police wellbeing services and brings assessment learning and conversation about emergency services wellbeing into one place. They offer the best support and training to practitioners and leaders in forces so they can offer the best possible wellbeing services. Providing support and guidance so all police forces can improve well-being within their organisations, their services have been developed for police by police and are designed to meet the unique needs of officers and staff. Supporting the Force Whilst working to improve wellbeing across the force, Oscar Kilo knew they needed to add to their training portfolio so that they were able to continue helping educate officers and staff. They needed officers and staff to know that even when they couldn't be there in person they were always looking to support their force to offer the best possible wellbeing provision. Looking for a solution Oscar-Kilo reached out to the Tiny Wizards. Our first journey with Oscar Kilo was to help them introduce officers to a brand new psychological screening and structured interview. This wasn't like any animation we had worked on before, the subject was very serious, but we know that "serious" doesn't have to mean unengaging. Working out how to approach this project was our first task, we worked closely with Oscar Kilo to make sure that we were going in the right direction. Making sure that everything from the tone of the script to potential illustration style was going to fit their message exactly. We knew that to get the importance of this message across the visuals had to be really special, luckily we have Gareth who has created a beautiful illustration style that really brought their message to life! Finally, we got to show Oscar-Kilo the beautiful animation we had poured our hearts and souls into! Following on from the success of the first video, Oscar Kilo needed a new animation that would open peoples eyes to the potential of taking part in The Emergency Services Trauma Intervention Programme, which is part of the psychological screening structured interview process. We knew it was important to keep the style the same and wanted to use scenes from the previous video to make sure that it was clear they are both parts of the same series, and that this animation was almost a sequel to the first. With all of this in mind, Gareth worked his magic once again, bringing the Oscar Kilo characters to life for the second time, he did not disappoint!

The Chilli Project

Time frame: Past

Back in December, we ran a competition where one hyped-up hot sauce producer from across the globe could be in for the chance to win an animated explainer from none other than us! The Tiny Wizards! It was declared The Alchemists Workshop, and this round was going to be #HOTMAGIC. Deep down, all of the Tiny Wizards wanted to work with a snazzy food or beverage brand and with enough spicy sauce in the fridge to create a tiny nuclear bomb, getting to know some "hot hot hot" hot sauce companies felt like the best way forward! Setting Social Media On Fire We weren't about to give an animated video away easily though! We knew we wanted to work with a hot sauce company that was going to make the most of this amazing asset! It wasn't plain sailing for the Chilli Project, Hotmagic was a spicy battle, with people throwing social media assets, engagement and promo videos around like there was no tomorrow! But no one fought harder than the Chilli Project, they were all over our feed every day of the HotMagic challenge. So, we the Wizards of Tiny Wizard Studio crowned Chilli Project the hottest hot sauce company around, and began building a relationship with the incredible owners, who just like us are a family business with a real passion for what they do! A match made in heaven. We learned all about the Chilli Project characters, how they came about, as well as the history behind The Chilli Project and how they came to be a family of hotheads! We wanted to know everything we could, to make sure their animated video was full of spice and told the story of their sauces! Where they came from, what inspired them and most importantly, what makes them hotter than all the others. Our wizards set to work and developed character styles, environments that worked well with the brand and would resonate with their target audience. With a robust set of brand guidelines in place, we made sure everything we created was consistent with the brand and other marketing material. Consistency is key and we know working with big brands means adapting to styles! Once concept art was approved, the storyboard went into development and with only a few rounds of amends, our magical animators began to bring The Chilli Project'sstory to life! We were on the edge of our seats the whole way through bringing The Chilli Projectanimation to life! By the time the end was in sight, we were counting down the days to completion! We couldn't wait to be able to show the final product to the world! They loved it! A truly collaborative project from start to finish. This is evidence that when you find your tribe, magic is made. Here's what they had to say... "WE REALLY ENJOYED WORKING WITH TINY WIZARD STUDIO! THEY HAVE A GREAT PERSONAL TOUCH WITH THEIR CLIENTS. THEY CAPTURED EVERYTHING DURING THE BRAND DISCOVERY STAGE AND HAD EVERYTHING NEEDED TO PRODUCE AN AWESOME ANIMATED VIDEO THAT WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE. THE TEAM ARE GENUINE, PROFESSIONAL, AND DOWN TO EARTH WHICH MADE THE WHOLE PROCESS SEAMLESS AND EFFORTLESS. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND AND USE THEM AGAIN. THANK YOU FROM US ALL AT THE CHILLI PROJECT. WE ARE RAVING FANS AND WE WILL BE TELLING EVERYONE ABOUT YOU" Rick Saunders, The Chilli Project

Age Cymru

Time frame: Present

As the only national charity for older people in Wales, Age Cymru are leading the way towards an age-friendly Wales! Whilst they are well-known, the organisation felt it was time to spread their message further. Age Cymru came to us to develop a brand awareness campaign that would include an animated explainer video, social media assets, as well as a suite of advertising billboards. And because we are in Wales, we developed a bilingual campaign. As a studio of Welsh speakers, we were delighted to contribute to keeping the language alive. Age Cymru already had some brand guidelines (handy!) However, they didn't have an established guide for illustration or animation. They were in safe hands with the wizards. Developing and evolving brand styles is what we do and so we put out creative powers together to find a style that would fit with the current brand while remaining fresh and engaging. Age Cymru was keen not to stereotype older people in Wales, so we had fun collaborating with the marketing team to develop the character styles and activities at the concept art stage, before we moved on to developing storyboards and production. To compliment the animation and the digital campaign. Age Cymru summoned the wizards to work, developing a suite of designs for their print advertising campaigns. We're looking forward to seeing these out and about. And not forgetting the digital world, we also whipped up some social assets to help to get Age Cymru seen by people all over Wales. What's next? After we'd wrapped up all the work spreading the word far and wide about Age Cymru, they dropped us another request... This time they wanted to use animation to shout about their dementia advocacy program. Dementia is something that has touched a lot of our lives here in Tiny Wizard so we knew we needed to make this one special. Following a gentleman's journey with dementia, we wanted to touch on key moments that affect people with dementia and their families. Coming soon...

WebMarketer

Time frame: Past

As trade shows and exhibitions continued to be cancelled left and right, many businesses have had to turn to the digital world to generate leads. Seems simple enough, but how do you create the right ad? How do you know when it's working? Or not working? And how do you adapt and improve your strategy? This is the exact expertise that Web Marketer brings to the arena. To help businesses benefit from pay-per-click Facebook advertising, the digital marketing consultancy developed a framework that they proudly named, "Gladiator Ads." To spread the word far and wide, they needed a dynamic and powerful creative campaign. Web Marketer called their friends and long-time collaborators at Tiny Wizard Studio to create an animated video that would explain how Gladiator Ads work and how Web Marketer's commitment to getting it right makes all the difference. The video needed to be short, sweet & simple, striking the right balance between education and entertainment. A 1980s video game style brings the campaign to life, capturing Web Marketer's cheeky personality whilst reflecting how effective and simple Gladiator Ads are to use. Comical and compelling, this retro-gaming style presents the many challenges of Facebook marketing in a way that is simple to understand but not overly daunting. It then capitalises on the game analogy to succinctly show how Web Marketer's approach can help B2B businesses successfully generate leads. The visual style of the video leads the creative execution of the whole campaign and was rolled out across all marketing touchpoints from static ads to a micro-site to a lead magnet. Web Marketer launched their campaign in December 2020, sharing the video via a targeted ad campaign and across social media.

Visit Digital

Time frame: Past

Visit Digital is a strategic digital marketing agency whose brand identity was in need of a refresh to keep up with the fast-paced sector. It's important to us that our clients get everything they need, and that it's completely on-brand. We're perfectionists, we can't help it! Visit Digital needed a comprehensive icon library for use across their marketing materials. We put together some stunning line icons featuring a variety of colour palettes. We made sure they're just as bold, beautiful and eye-catching as the rest of the identity. They came to us to help them put together an identity that was bold and striking, one that would age well. Visit Digital helps organisations to build successful, multi-channel digital strategies and now it was their turn to go under the scope and get some TLC. Passionate about helping businesses grow with their years of experience, they just needed a contemporary brand that matched their values and personality. Impressed by the agency's personality driven brand expression and bold, no-nonsense way of working, Visit Digital's director Lee felt a connection with Tiny Wizard Studio. His goal was to update his brand, to put him in the forefront of his sector to become a go-to in an already over-saturated market. He wanted a brand that visualised his process whilst representing the work he does with clients. The Tiny Wizards were tasked with creating a distinctive identity that separated them from other competitors! From notebooks to signage, with visit digitals new unforgettable identity branded elements came to life, highlighting the importance of strong iconography and font choice, and how these work perfectly with their new timeless logo. Tiny Wizard Studio knew the new Visit Digital website needed to live up the same timeless standard as the new logo, so proposed two versions both sticking like glue to the brand guidelines.

Artisarnie

Time frame: Past

Husband and wife team Sarah and Mark Beaumont bought The Producers Catering because they believed the product was something special. Delicious ready-to-eat foods and high quality catering featuring bespoke, handmade sandwiches filled with a generous helping of fresh ingredients. With a passion for food, customer-first service and big ambition, Sarah and Mark had all the makings of a brilliant business. All they needed was a brilliant brand. Impressed by the agency's personality-driven brand expression and sharing their love of workplace dogs, Sarah and Mark felt an immediate kinship with Tiny Wizard Studio. Their goal was to come out of the 2020 enforced hibernation in the way that a caterpillar emerges as a butterfly - a brand transformation to take them to the next level. Tiny Wizard was tasked with creating a distinctive identity that separated them from the large retailers whilst enabling them to locally compete with the national suppliers. WHAT'S IN A NAME? The Producers Catering didn't quite cut the mustard in expressing the fun, fresh personality of the brand, the artisan quality of the handmade products - or even that they made sandwiches! They were playing around with names like Artisandwich and Zest, but when Tiny Wizard came up with Artisarnie, they were sold. Not only did it roll off the tongue, but it reflected the fun-loving passion of the brand. Clwb was added to express exclusivity, encourage loyalty and show Welsh pride. TAKE A BITE OF THIS LOGO... Simple, fun and fresh, the logo conveys delicious quality and friendliness in a modern way that is as aspirational as it is approachable. The illustration of a big sandwich filled with generous ingredients showcases the brand's star product whilst the ink-stamp treatment of the linework gives it an authentic feel. The name is literally sandwiched in the middle in a font that is contemporary and clean, driving the idea that Artisarnie is a substantial company, able to satisfy retailers and consumers alike, yet small enough to care. UCH A COLOURFUL PERSONALITY... The brand's colour palette was incredibly important in expressing Artisarnie's vibrant personality and exuberant passion. Primary colours Dark Navy, Bright Red and Warm Grey are bold and confident with modern sensibility whilst secondary colours Sunny Yellow and Spring Mint express the brand's enthusiasm, friendliness and fun-loving nature. SANDWICHES TASTE BETTER WHEN SOMEONE ELSE MAKES THEM The identity stands out boldly against the rustic kraft boxes and paper, with details such as coloured handles, branded stickers and fun flags driving value and instant recognition of The Artisarnie Clwb. And as a brand that cares, everything is recyclable. Now in possession of a powerful brand identity, The Artisarnie Clwb comes to life across all touchpoints. "Begrudgingly I have to confess to being super excited to see your emails pop up! The brand you have designed for us immediately gives an ear to ear smile! We have really enjoyed the process and it has helped to reinforce our resolve to not only survive these uncertain times but come out of it new, brighter and fresher. A bit like a new Doctor Who but without the tardis! From start to finish it was obvious we had chosen the right people to look after out brand design. Slick, competent and enchanting - everything you want from a wizard and a sprinkle of magic too." The Artisarnie Clwb Sarah & Mark Beaumont

Sustain It

Time frame: Present

Getting in good with the UK's leading Sustainability Data Consultancy A family-run global Sustainability Data consultancy based in the heart of the green city of Bristol, SustainIt harnesses the power and potential of data to make businesses more efficient, profitable and sustainable. With an impressive client list and a stellar reputation, SustainIt's aims to revolutionise the way that businesses make a positive impact, one data point at a time. To realise this vision, the organisation needed a strong visual identity that reflected their amiable and attentive personality as well as their core values of transformation, responsibility and empowerment. In 2018, SustainIt had just undergone a rebrand and were preparing for a new website. It should have been an exciting time, but instead, they found themselves feeling frustrated by the lack of guidance from the agencies they were working with. They were also a bit underwhelmed by the creative, which seemed to increasingly go in the wrong direction - corporate, cold and character-less. After going around in circles with their agency, SustainIt reached out to Tiny Wizard for some illustration work. When the wizards delivered exactly what they needed (within two hours, mind you), SustainIt decided to put them in charge of the whole brand refresh. Back to square one... The first thing Tiny Wizard identified was SustainIt's need for a stronger, more in-depth brand style guide to provide clear direction for creative execution, ensure consistency across all touchpoints and, most importantly, imbue the brand with a vibrant and dynamic personality. No longer flat and corporate, SustainIt's robust new guidelines inspire, delight and govern the brand's visual expression for pretty much everything. Whilst SustianIt's logo didn't change, its proper usage, as well as all other visual assets such as typography, colour palettes, icons and illustration styles, were developed and brought to life by Tiny Wizard. Brand Guardians To ensure successful implementation of the guidelines, Tiny Wizard provided SustainIt with creative support every step of the way. From hands-on consulting for the brand's digital experience to the creation of printed marketing materials to the reimagining of business templates, case studies and more, Tiny Wizard provides the brand guidance and design expertise so SustainIt can focus on thinking big, empowering businesses and being the good data people. Breaking out of the corporate box SustainIt's previous website was clean and succinct, but lacklustre and static with information tucked into little boxes. In adopting Tiny Wizard's new brand guidelines, SustainIt's is now full of movement and vitality. It is still clean and possibly more succinct as pops of colour, illustrations and animations support the user experience. Becoming socially adept Tiny Wizard has developed a visual strategy to help SustainIt fully leverage social media. Each content platform has been allotted a colour to enable continuity and a sense of flow. The result? Timelines will look effortlessly organised, powerfully branded and appealing to followers. Again, Tiny Wizard continues to work closely with SustainIt, creating monthly assets for social media to maintain the integrity of the brand. Creative Partners Beyond the brand, Tiny Wizard will join SustainIt in their mission to transform data into information to educate and inspire. Working as an extension of the team, Tiny Wizard will create infographics and illustrations for the SustainIt's data visualisation service offering. "From our first call, I knew Tiny Wizard were the helping hand I'd long been searching for! With a full business rebrand and new website on the horizon, as well as trying to juggle everything else I was part of in the business, I knew I needed some help! Jess worked really hard through all the initial introductions to SustainIt's ideas and projects and began starting to piece the puzzle together. Once the bare bones of our brand personality started shining through, I felt like everything I received back from the team got better and better - and now it feels like we've never been without them. Throughout the rebrand, I've really felt that the team understood what I had in my head (even if I wasn't able to fully articulate it to start with) which was something I'd struggled with other agencies before. No task is too small and they are always there to jump in and support us if we need something, which has been so vital in rolling out the new branding to the public as well as the rest of the SustainIt staff! I'm thoroughly looking forward to building on the fab foundations Tiny Wizard has helped us put together!"

With Tiny Wizard's help, they wanted to create a cohesive style across all of their promotional material so that they would be instantly recognisable wherever they were spotted. Making sure to spread their message even further! Coming Back For More Since then due to the huge success of their first animated explainer, BulliesOut keeps coming back for more! BulliesOut quickly found continuing to Market and fundraise through a pandemic was becoming a struggle. There wasn't looking like an end in sight and quickly realised they needed more animations! Making people aware of the work they were still doing was part of a huge social media campaign. (Use some of the social posts we've created for them?) Their team were still working throughout the pandemic, but had lost a lot of the usual fundraising avenues, and needed a new way to support the irreplaceable services that BulliesOut offers. Dairypower

Time frame: Not Specified

Dairypower provides high-quality patented slurry management solutions for cattle, pigs and poultry. Its Smart Slurry Aeration System is proven to be the safest, most cost-effective and environmentally-friendly system available. The family-owned company, based in Cork and founded in 1973, is now a global business that exports equipment to over 30 countries worldwide. With the ambition to expand into North America as well as to grow here at home in the UK, Dairypower needed a smart, agile strategy to generate leads - quickly and effectively. Farming Leads Dairypower usually found leads by attending exhibits and industry shows. As 2020 social distancing measures made this impossible, they turned to WebMarketer, a digital marketing consultancy based in Wales for a new strategy. Web Marketer quickly assessed that a full digital marketing programme would not provide the flexibility or the quick results Dairypower was after. Instead, they proposed a more tactical solution - a targeted campaign that was informative, entertaining and effective. All they needed was strong creatives to bring the strategy into being. Web Marketer reached out to their long-time collaborators at Tiny Wizard Studio for some spellbinding visual communications to help Dairypower attract and magnetise new customers worldwide. The boutique agency was tasked with producing a global animated explainer video campaign that communicated the purpose and benefits of Dairypower's manure aeration systems in a way that was simple, distinctive and, if possible, a bit charming. Simply demystifying... The videos at the centre of the campaign needed to accomplish several things - in under 3 minutes. Firstly, it needed to breakdown how Dairypower's Smart Slurry Aeration Systems worked, demystifying the technical information so it was easy to understand. It also needed to highlight why this process is so important, the multiple benefits of Dairypower's patented system, and a strong call to action that would generate solid leads. And as always, Tiny Wizard created a series of static ads as well as a sales brochure to support the video campaign. Wrangling real results... Dairypower was looking to generate 10 leads a month with this campaign. They accomplished that within 48 hours. With a final tally of over 140K views and approx. 250 leads, the campaign was a smashing success. Not only did it deliver above and beyond expectations, but it also achieved a 26x return on ad spend. Now that's a success story!
