Think Design Manchester has used the following skills/services in the project.
The brief
It was a very interesting brief. A business that was facing number of challenges as a result of business growth, that had primarily been achieved through customer base proliferation, additional technical partners and an increase in personnel.
They had a desire to retain and grow its existing customer portfolio and to expand into new markets. Growth from the already established relationship with ‘not for profit’ organisations was key, as was retaining and growing their presence in retail, sporting arenas and more generally in national B2B markets.
The main issue from our point of view is the existing website didn’t communicate anything well. It didn’t work well across browsers, and visually looked very dated.
Our approach
We needed to start by understanding how best to channel their key audiences to the right section of the website and work backwards from this. With 6 key personas to manage the approach was to create a user journey map alongside the site map.
This enabled multiple channels for users to find their way to the content they would typically be looking for.
We also ensured that any key content was gated, and required the user to fill out a short form to get access. This completed form then triggered an enquiry in Zoho, Qbase’s CRM system which was integrated seamlessly.
Once we had approval on the sitemap and the wireframes, next stage was the creative. It had been recognised that Qbase didn’t have much brand identity to work with, so we set about developing the visual style that set the professional tone, and also worked incredibly hard with the underlying concept we developed.
The idea was simple. The data they work with isn’t theirs. It’s the clients. The concept was pitched as Your Data… Saved, or Your Data… Rescued, Your Data… organised. Whichever message worked well in that instance.
The results
“We had been looking at our digital strategy and found there were too many gaps in our current offering. We decided the right path was to rebuild a site rather than update the current one. We went through a tender process and invited Paul, Think Design, to be part of that process.
We were encouraged by Paul’s, “everything is possible” approach and the creative spark he brought, as well as the vast body of work that really showcased this. That’s why we chose Think for our website development project.
We are very happy with the end result and Think’s dedication and effort to the project was massive. We are well positioned for the future thanks to the help from Paul and the team.”
