Steve Todd

About

When his head wasn't in the clouds dreaming about becoming a pilot, they were buried in his school books.

Steve Todd was a genius at maths, a natural at physics and a trail-blazer in computer science. He challenged ideas, facts and opinions in school, having no qualms correcting the teachers when they were wrong.

Leaving his dreams of flying high, Steve studied hard at University of Liverpool, achieving a 1st in Computer Science. Before long, his career in programming took off and he started working for digital agency, Rippleffect.

During that time, he also decided to set up his own business, Telanorth with a small collection of friends, on top of his full-time job. Their business focused on building quality websites, which is where Steve's passions lie.

After two years at Rippleffect, Steve decided to move on. In 2009, he started at MBL, as a senior computer programmer, continuing Telanorth in his spare time. Sadly, due to the economic climate; he was made redundant after just a few months with the company. Undeterred, he focused all his energy on Telanorth, along with his colleague Liam Potter. In 2011 Steve and Liam spoke with Gavin of It's About Websites and they decided to merge the two companies into one to form Mashbo.

And what makes Mr Todd 'tick'? In his words: "Being able to build 'boss' websites on a daily basis." Bootcamps and building model RC planes also help to keep his body and mind occupied outside of work.
