One of the UK’s leading digital retailers, Argos also helps businesses access a wide variety of products online and in-store.
Having become Argos for Business’ digital partner to develop and launch a new website, we had the opportunity to reset initiatives along with the primary objectives to create an engaging and informative user experience, grow engagement, boost traffic and deliver insightful content for why businesses commit to an AfB business account.
Our approach
Immersing ourselves in the established brand we worked in parallel with their team. We facilitated a series of workshops to fully understand the core objectives of the proposition and project whilst becoming an extension of the marketing team, working closely to deliver the optimum solution.
Forming a sitemap and building a structure that reduced bounce rate and optimised conversions were key to the project. We developed an intuitive menu structure that allowed for a superior user experience, while the design adhered to the look and feel of the retail brand with considered navigation.
Creating a detailed, yet easy-to-use online application form that walked potential business customers through a series of questions to pre-qualify leads, which streamlined back-office processes by integrating online account applications with internal systems.
Results
The new Argos for Business website saw over 9,000 pre-qualified business enquiries in its first year. Not only was this a huge increase in online leads, but being pre-qualified meant for a more efficient process all round for the AfB team and Argos brand.
