About the client
Hassell’s came to us looking for a new website to replace the previous very out-dated website. They are on of the UK’s leading distributors of specialist material handling equipment since 1974. We very quickly realised that in order to achieve a good outcome for the project, we needed to approach the client with our concept of a full brand overhaul to be done alongside the website project.
The Challenge
As we were simultaneously suggesting a full company rebrand as well as a new website that allows the client to add products themselves, manage content and have a better sales approach, we had to take the project back to basics and look at the brand as a whole and to how this works going forwards with the business. As part of the process, we also had to get the buy-in from everyone involved in the company as we appreciated that suggesting more than just a new website was not something the business was expected but we were very pleased when our ideas were adopted across the board.
The Solution
Alongside a new brand, we produced designs that have led on to the printed material for the business being re-designed, and also, the website has been designed and developed. The website itself, is a Wordpress based solution which allows our client to now manage the website and products themselves. Fitting in with the new brand, the website fixes all of the issues of the original website by expanding the amount of in-site content from 10 pages to over 200, giving increased search engine exposure.
