Claudio Davanzo

About

Claudio began his career within the design industry after graduating with a BA (Hons) Degree in Graphic Design from the University of Derby.

Following his graduation, Claudio went on to work for the Derby Evening Telegraph, managing their in-house design team.

With his love for beautiful design continuing to grow, Claudio left the Telegraph to work as a Senior Designer at The Greenlight Advertising Agency, before setting up his own creative agency, Black Apricot Creative, as Founder and Creative Director. Claudio has also worked as an Account Manager and Design Manager at Revolver Revolver, a creative agency based in Derby.

He joined the PM team in 2015.

With over 15 years’ experience in the creative industry, Claudio has worked on many multidisciplinary projects, working with some very exciting brands including St. Tropez, FIFA, Thorntons, Loughborough University, Formula One, Pattonair, True Refrigeration and Derby County Football Club.

As Creative Director at Purpose, Claudio heads up the design team, creating eye-catching design that’s consistent and delivers on client objectives. He’s adept at planning and driving projects from concept through to completion, whilst maintaining the highest standards of creativity, bringing clarity, focus and passion.

His attention to detail, strategic planning and communication skills combined with a refreshingly honest approach to client relationships bring genuine added value to the management of key projects here at PM.

Outside of work, Claudio adores sport, playing in weekly football matches and training regularly too. And when he’s not working up a sweat on the pitch, Claudio is tearing up the slopes! As an avid skier, he loves the French Alps, aiming to visit each winter to soak up the snow.

As a creative, Claudio also enjoys visiting different design and art exhibitions, gathering inspiration for new work projects.
