Recommended agency Grey London takes Content Awards Grand Prix

At the recent Content Marketing Awards organised by The Drum, recommended agency Grey London won the Grand Prix award for the outstanding work with client WildAid to help save the elephant and stop the ivory industry through social media.

A spokesman for the agency said, “This campaign was a success because Grey London took a risk and WildAid trusted us to run it as we saw fit. We had to hustle for everything. We never took no for an answer. And we learnt that there is no substitute for looking someone in the eye, so people know you’re for real and you genuinely care about the issue. That’s how you become true partners, produce powerful content that forces change.”

Several recommended agencies were among award-winners announced earlier this month.

Analogfolk took home the award for Best Branded Content Campaign. They won this for work they produced for Sainsbury’s and their ‘Storytellers’ campaign which set out to find and celebrate storytellers across the country.

The trophy for Best Content Marketing ROI/Measurement Program went to Stein IAS for the effectiveness of their work for Trelleborg Marine Systems.

Runner-up to Stein IAS in this category was Wunderman’s Health division, earning a commendation by utilising data to inform content and create customised digital experiences for GSK.

We Are Vista picked up the award for Best Internal Content Marketing Strategy/Campaign for the work they did for Lloyds Banking Group and their campaign “The Next Chapter”.

A commendation for Best Professional Services Content Marketing Strategy/Campaign was awarded to Impero, who created an interactive map of London that pulled all the ‘sweary’ posts from London's most popular social networks at the height of the most recent Tube Strike.

Another commendation was given to Oban Digital, alongside BBC World Service, for Best News/Media/Publishing Content Marketing Strategy/Campaign. This recognised their work on BBC 100 Women, a series of events aimed at shining a light on women’s lives around the globe.
