Iris Worldwide has ranked in first place in The RAR Top 100, the only list of agencies based on financial KPI’s.
The creative, integrated agency that recently formed a strategic partnership with Cheil, reached the leading position as a result of achieving the highest average rank, across a range of measures including turnover, turnover growth, profit and profit growth.
Agencies across every marketing service are considered in the RAR report, the only conditions are each agency must first achieve high scores via the recommendedagencies.com system of ratings then submit key financial data for analysis.
Following closely behind Iris in second place is digital media agency Essence, recently acquired by WPP, who ranked in first place for turnover growth and in third Dentsu/Aegis agency iProspect who ranked in second place for gross profit.
Steve Bell, CEO of Iris Europe said “Sixteen years ago there was just seven of us and I can honestly say, the 1000 strong team we have today is the best in the world. Without their hard work, creativity and unwavering passion we'd be nowhere. The same goes for our clients, who thanks to being bold enough and brave enough to let us get a bit weird, we are doing some of the most exciting work we've ever done. Being number one in a list such as this, means the world. And I'm dreading the hangovers we'll all have come Saturday, after tonight’s celebrations."
Steve Antoniewicz, managing director of RAR, commented on the results: "Though these agencies all exist in the same category, it’s rare to view such a diverse group together. This Top 100 report ranks agencies performing at the highest level and it’s fantastic to see such strong growth across the group setting a really high bar for the 12 months ahead. Congratulations to Iris, of course, but also to every agency who made it onto this list”
