As the dust (tequila) settles from what can only be described as the greatest night in our history, and we are each trying various hangover remedies (nothing works!!), we are starting to reflect on what we actually achieved. But first, let’s go back in time 12 months….

Exactly one year ago we were being crowned the “Best Software Development Agency in the UK” at the RAR Digital Awards. As you can imagine, we were absolutely delighted to receive this recognition as the award winners are decided solely on client feedback and scoring for the services that their agencies have provided.

Now fast forward to last night, and we were sitting nervously hoping to retain our title but also hoping to pick up one or two more awards as we were finalists in eleven categories.

I am pleased to say that we did win the award for being the “Best Software Development Agency in the UK” again…..but the story does not end there….

We were also crowned “Best Web Development Agency in the UK”, “Best Web Design Agency in the UK”, “Best Optimisation Agency in the UK” and “Best Analytics Agency in the UK”!!!

Then as we were trying to come to terms with all the awards we had won, and figure out how we were going to keep them safe for the rest of the night (which was inevitably going to involve some celebratory drinks), we got what can only be described as our “Kelly Holmes moment”. You know, when she won 800m gold at the Athens Olympics in 2004. The shock, surprise and sheer joy on her face was something we all replicated when, completely unexpectedly, our name was announced as the RAR Grand Prix winner for agencies with 40 – 99 staff members.

Every single agency within the size category mentioned, that were finalists at the awards, were eligible to win this accolade. As you can imagine, the competition was incredibly high with some truly brilliant agencies, who excel in a great variety of digital services, hoping to win the award. Needless to say, we were overjoyed, to win our sixth, and arguably most impressive, award of the evening!!!
