The brief presented to MMT Digital was to build a solution which would hold a bank of past Edexcel exam papers, individual questions, mark schemes and examiners reports for 11 different GCSE subjects. As a new and improved version of an existing tool Pearson wanted Exam Wizard to give teachers more than just the ability to download the past papers and associated documents. They wanted the new application to allow teachers to build their own bespoke exam papers using existing questions from Edexcel's entire bank of past exam questions. They knew that this would give teachers more flexibility and allow them to use the content in different ways to teach within the classroom. MMT Digital designed, architected and built the solution within a 3 month period and launched in August. Exam Wizard is now available for teachers all across the UK.

Using Kentico CMS as the platform MMT Digital built the FRC's website within a five month period employing a large number of Kentico's out-of-the-box webparts and document types, customised with additional bespoke functionality to meet the FRC's unique requirements. With approximately 400 plus pages and 3,000 PDFs, the FRC's main website needed to display content in a way which would not only replicate their new structure but would also be made easy to find. To deliver this MMT Digital used Kentico's out-of-the-box search feature and customised this to cater to the FRC's individual search requirements. The FRC's new website is more focussed, easy to understand, efficient and clearly interprets the organisation's new internal structure. The architecture of the site accommodates the vast amount of content effortlessly, making the site incredibly easy to search. The powerful and feature rich CMS has enhanced the website with its flexibility to integrate with bespoke features and functionality such as the bespoke sub-page navigation webpart and the customised search functionality. Pan Macmillan

Timeframe: Past

The brief presented to MMT Digital was to build an aesthetically appealing web solution that would be a focal point for book readers looking for extra content on authors and their books; a secure area where booksellers could make enquiries and get access to highly valuable data and information and a solution that could be accessed wherever their customers are. The Pan Macmillan's web solution was built over a 6 month period and was achieved in this timeframe due to the large number of out of the box web parts and document types available within the Kentico CMS. By utilising and customising these out of the box features we were able to significantly speed up the development time and give Pan Macmillan a wide choice of features to choose from. In addition to this the Kentico CMS allowed the new web solution to communicate and integrate with existing 3rd party solutions, allowing the passing of data to and the placing of orders from the web solution in a seamless process meaning more than 6,000 titles are available for sale.
