Leading Digital Marketing Agency Announces Major Management Reshuffle

3rd February 2021

Liberty Marketing, Wales’ largest specialist digital marketing agency, has announced that it’s having a major management reshuffle to suit company growth.

One key movement is that Gareth Morgan, Managing Director and Founder of Liberty Marketing, will be stepping out of the Managing Director position to Group CEO, focusing on business development, partnerships and Liberty’s marketing activity, while Kris Davies replaces him as Managing Director.

Kris Davies, currently Operations Director, has been with Liberty Marketing since 2010, and has put a number of processes and systems in place that has helped Liberty grow expansively over the last ten years.

Kris Davies says:

“I’m very proud to be moving into the Managing Director role. I've been part of Liberty for the last 10 years and have watched it grow from a start up to the successful agency it is today. The team is fantastic and I'm excited about leading them through the next phase of growth. We have some ambitious plans for the coming years and have made a fantastic start by achieving record growth in 2020/21.”

Other major changes include Paul Hunter moving from Marketing Manager to Head of Innovation, where he identifies key areas of growth for Liberty Marketing as well as developing innovative strategies to improve performance.

Reshma Vadgama is now Head of Client Relationships, managing the Client Relationship team after working as a Client Relationship Manager for the past 4 years at Liberty.

Emily Benwell also stepped up from Marketing Coordinator to Brand Manager, developing both the Liberty brand and marketing strategies as well as the Foundation brand, a new beauty-specific performance agency launched by Liberty earlier in the year.

Gareth Morgan, now CEO of Liberty Marketing, says:

“The leadership team at Liberty Marketing is one of the highest performing teams I’ve known. Kris has done a fantastic job at growing the business with the support of other members of the leadership team and has implemented the EOS Model (Entrepreneurial Operating Systems) throughout the agency, which has improved us in every single way. I am extremely confident that Liberty Marketing will continue to grow in the hands of the current leadership team."

Liberty Marketing has also recently moved from small to medium category as an SME as it has just employed its 50th member of staff.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, Liberty has hired 15 new members of staff to support with its growth, increasing the number of employees by almost a third, and has also increased its revenue since the beginning of the pandemic in March by over £1m in additional retained revenue.
