Perhaps you want to be on top of the latest trends in digital marketing. Perhaps you want to talk to some really clever people. Maybe you just want to leave the house this year.

Whatever your reasons, this year is shaping up to be a great year for digital marketing events – and as these slowly but surely shift back to being in-person events, now is a good time to plan your 2022 calendar.

Here are the events to look out for this year.

1. BrightonSEO - April and September

BrightonSEO has grown to become a lynchpin for digital marketers – and not just in the UK. With its variety of talks, it’s an excellent way to keep your finger on the pulse of what’s happening in the industry.

Now with a number of fringe festivals, including The Paid Social Show and MeasureFest, you’re bound to learn something.

2. Driving insights in a cookieless world - May

That's right! Launch is tackling this hot topic with two breakfast events in May. Join us in Bristol or Exeter to learn about your compliance obligations and digital marketing marketing tactics you can use as we shift to a cookie-free future.

Alongside insights from us we'll have talks from Google, Microsoft, and Noisy Little Monkey. Don't miss it!

3. HeroConf - July

If you’re after super-specific PPC-only advice, it doesn’t get much better than HeroConf. Produced by Brainlabs, the conference attracts super high-profile speakers and provides a ton of learning opportunities, whatever your role in PPC. In 2022 it’s back in-person, and we can’t wait.

Oh, did we mention we're going to be speaking this year too?

4. DigiMarConUK London - September

Want the opportunity to fully embrace every facet of digital marketing? DigiMarCon covers an astonishingly wide spectrum of disciplines, including data science, conversion rate optimisation, influencer marketing, paid search, privacy, podcasting and, er, ‘smarketing’.

It also takes place all over the world, so it’s pretty much as big as it gets when it comes to conferences. In 2022, you can attend in-person or virtually – for our friends in the South West, there’s also an event in Bristol too!

5. The Drum Digital Summit - October

Alright, so this one is a little more top-level on the digital marketing front than the others, but if you want quality insights from some of the world’s biggest brands and agencies on how they’re tackling digital’s big challenges, this is a solid choice.

Last year included plenty of content on data privacy, influencer marketing and ecommerce – so it’s definitely one to watch for upcoming trends and navigating future challenges. The event is also virtual-only, which helps if you’ve become accustomed to not leaving the house.

6. Social Media Week London - November

While this one’s not strictly within the remit of paid social, 2021’s event touched on some super interesting themes – including social commerce, influencer marketing and engaging Gen-Z – which are only going to become more and more relevant.

Hosted by AdWeek, it’s a titan of an event and if you have anything to do with social, it’s definitely worth a look.

And finally...

Naturally, we also recommend you keep a close watch on Google events throughout the year, especially with GA4 and the cookieless future fast approaching. New events, both virtual and in-person, are being announced all the time, so we hope to bump into you at some of them!
