My first three months at Kazoo have been jam-packed with exciting campaigns and projects. From gifting celebs with pies for British Pie Week, to revealing how the nation is sleeping for National Sleep Month and launching one of the UK’s most anticipated electric cars.

I started the agency just before Christmas and I jumped straight into a team that was absolutely promised me at interview – a team full of energy and enthusiasm, exciting client campaigns and super supportive managers that care about me within the grand scheme of client work.

Starting as client campaigns were being planned, I was able to get involved with this year’s campaigns from inception – and was thrilled to be a part of the team seeing this through to fruition and delivering stand-out coverage.

A massive highlight was taking Pukka Pies from Leicestershire to WAKANDA – gifting Winston Duke from the Hollywood blockbuster film, Black Panther, with Pukka Pies which was streamed live on the Chris Moyles Breakfast Show #WakandaForever.

Kazoo is a fantastic environment for cultivating talent, and there are always opportunities to expand your knowledge and to learn.

During my first few weeks, I attended The Creative Shoot Out at BAFTA – an annual event in which the top creative teams across the communications industry compete on-stage to a live audience, responding to a live brief with 24hrs of preparation. It was a great experience to see first-hand the emerging trends in creativity.

I also was able to attend an immersive training session at the Kia Motors Academy. Here I was able to experience first-hand Kia’s latest smart technologies and test drive all of the newest car launches, with an exclusive sneak peak of the Kia e-Niro (the first all-electric car to be awarded a WhatCar? Car of the Year Award!). I’m really looking forward to seeing all the behind the scenes media seeding we’ve worked on materialise.

My first three months has been so much fun, aside from all of the brilliant campaigns and projects we work on, we also know how to have a good time whilst doing so. I’m excited to see what is in store next!
