The quest for the Euros has officially begun!!! After the success of their Euro’s debut in 2016, team Wales, began their journey for the 2020 Euro’s with a match at home against Slovakia. With a new manager, and new generation of players, a strong crowd was required!
Golley Slater were tasked by the Football Association of Wales to promote the Wales v Slovakia game (which took place on Sunday 24 March).
We took a multi-channel approach to raise awareness and promote ticket sales. The channels we used included our in-house Programmatic Trading Desk for detailed targeting, street liners for frequency, D6’s and Malls, on the popular high streets.
The results….? An early Dan James strike ensured Wales started their European Championship Qualifying campaign with a victory and a fantastic attendance of over 31 and a half thousand was delivered!
