FDG Creative Ltd has used the following skills/services in the project.
TT Club is the leading provider of insurance and related risk management services to the international transport and logistics industry.
FDG was initially asked to create a shell scheme for a joint stand with EXIS Technologies at TOC Container Supply Chain in Rotterdam. The purpose of the stand was to promote the correct packing/unpacking of shipping containers, as this area represents significant industry losses each year.
FDG created an eye-catching scheme that sympathetically promoted both brands, whilst also providing a professional yet relaxed ‘meet and greet’ opportunity. To help draw the crowds, FDG also designed and created the ‘Containing the Risk’ container packing game. Participants were required to pack a perspex scale model of a shipping container correctly with a selection of wooden blocks. The blocks varied in size and were laser engraved with weights and industry symbols to represent a mixed cargo and hint at their ideal locations. Times were logged and displayed on a digital leader-board that enhanced the competitive nature of the game, as well as building a contact database.
FDG has since been asked to create a series of informative consequence animations to illustrate the inherent dangers of incorrectly packed shipping containers. The animations are designed to raise awareness of the CTU Code (a joint publication of the: International Maritime Organization (IMO), International Labour Organization (ILO) and United Nations Commission for Europe (UNECE)). Seven of the most common issues are illustrated, each showing the very graphic results of an incorrectly packed container.
