EPM Digital has used the following skills/services in the project.
ROHM Semiconductor regularly attends a number of important industry exhibitions every year, but these were either cancelled or held virtually in 2020 and 2021. After researching and gathering feedback from virtual events, it was clear that virtual events weren't always successful with many users finding little value in attending.
To combat this, ROHM required a creative partner to help in building a virtual booth environment rich with engaging content, great functionality, direct and easy to use communication channels but could also be reused for future events.
The project required web, app and 3D teams to work together to produce an engaging 360 virtual environment for the client’s target audience. It was important that the virtual space was interesting to explore but was also simple to navigate and consume content. Interactive buttons along the bottom of the environment allowed attendees to easily traverse the environment.
Attendees were able to access informative panels, videos, online seminars and presentations, one-on-one meetings, whitepapers and more. The booth evolved across four virtual trade shows over the course of a year, with additional features such as an interactive show car added.
At Electronica 2020, this booth presented ROHM’s latest solutions for automotive and industrial applications in various digital formats. One of over 200 exhibitors from 25 countries, ROHM’s 360-degree immersive environment was a distinct visitor experience.
In the third update for Embedded World 2021 (which saw 350+ virtual exhibitors), we added an interactive show car with the ability to read product highlights and presentations, perfect for ROHM’s automotive customers.
For the PCIM 2021 iteration, ROHM required a virtual exhibit that would demonstrate its latest automotive and industrial applications. ROHM also specified the need for a 3D car element that could be disassembled with the click of a button, showing the interior components.
We have thoroughly enjoyed collaborating with ROHM again and look forward to the next project.
