New Managing Director at Enjoy Digital propels growth for digital agency

With previous roles including Chief Operating Officer and Chief Digital Experience Officer, Alex Ellis joins Enjoy Digital to strengthen the company’s position as one of the UK’s leading digital marketing agencies.

Leeds-based digital marketing agency Enjoy Digital announced a new Managing Director, Alex Ellis, has joined the team. The move is set to spark a new era of growth for the business.

The appointment also brought changes for the current board members. Previous MD, Chris Jackson, moves into a new role as Chief Executive Officer and Enjoy Digital’s co-owner Andy Hey, is now the company’s Chief Operating Officer.

On the appointment, Chris Jackson said, “Bringing Alex onboard will give us a renewed focus on our growth plans. Our new senior leadership team is in place to achieve our vision and growth targets via delivering key initiatives needed to propel our business forward.”

Alex joins the team with more than 10 years of experience, having most recently held the position of COO at Woven Agency. He has also held board & SLT-level roles at HOME and Delete (now Unrvld).

As Managing Director at Delete, Alex was instrumental in building a team of 150 across four locations worldwide, working with global clients including; The Open, Royal Canin, the FA, and Specsavers and quadrupling the agency’s gross profit within three years.

After significant growth since starting operations in 2008, Enjoy Digital’s clients include Nisa, Fortune Brands, Sherwin-Williams, Bank of Ireland and Commonwealth War Graves. The agency offers services including web development, digital marketing, and paid media.
