Crafting a New Search Strategy for Bettys

You may have noticed that we’re partial to a piece of cake or two, and is there anywhere better in Yorkshire to go for a slice of cake (or a Fat Rascal) than Bettys?

We’re long-time fans of the brand and have been working with them on a few projects over the past couple of years. You might remember our cracking success with their Easter video but there’s been plenty going on behind the scenes, too.

We’ve undertaken a full architecture and metadata review of their website, working to optimise the site for SEO, resulting in a 10% increase in click-through-rate and 15% increase in impressions for non-brand queries in just three months. Not only that, but we’ve also overseen an improvement in the number of ranking keywords and traffic share to key landing pages for the brand, too.

Our resident PPC expert James has also been lending his skills to help the brand in that arena, too, with a 633% ROI across all of our PPC campaigns so far.

So, we’re very excited to announce that we’re now retained by Bettys to help drive the brand even further forward online. We’ll be lending our digital expertise across the board, with a specific focus on PPC and SEO with a view to further increasing e-commerce revenue over the coming year.
