DPDK expands team with 3 key senior hires

Rotterdam, 16 September 2021 - DPDK digital agency announces the expansion of its Rotterdam team with three major new hires. Joining the agency are Helga Torrezan (left) as Head of Strategy, Davide Mancini (middle) as Creative Director, and Marianela Queme (right) as Technical Director. This new talent comes from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds, and is set to further expand DPDK’s digital expertise. 

Head of Strategy Helga Torrezan is a seasoned brand strategist with over 13 years of know-how in marketing communications. Her vast experience across different industries has given her extensive knowledge of brand strategy development, brand marketing, and digital growth strategies. Helga has Brazilian roots and worked across the world for brands such as Staples, Swiss Re, and most recently Logex.   

“I’m a collaborator at heart. Ideas and strategies need to be executed and brought to life, and you need talented people to do that. That’s where I see the strength of DPDK as an agency, unique individuals from all over the world, working as one. I’m looking forward to creating innovative digital products that keep our clients ahead of the curve.”

Davide Mancini is joining as the agency’s new Creative Director. He has 10+ years of experience in design and art direction, working at a variety of different agencies including Ogilvy, M&C Saatchi, and TBWA, and has a history of delivering award-winning work. He’s no stranger to the client side either, and has worked for brands like G-Star Raw and Catawiki. 

“I’ve only been here for a short time, but I can already say that creativity takes the center stage at DPDK. I’ve been able to hit the ground running and am working on so many fun and challenging projects.  I look forward to tackling complex design challenges with such a passionate team.”

Marianela Queme comes on board as DPDK’s Technical Director. Marianela is an experienced  systems engineer. She started out as a web developer in her native Guatemala before making the move to software engineering in the UK and the Netherlands. She is an expert in software development and implementing data-driven marketing solutions, and even won the Tech Star DevelopHER award. 

“What drew me to DPDK is our shared values and approach towards technology. To me, technology has the potential to transform brands in new and creative ways. DPDK shares that vision and combines technology, creativity, and design to help brands reach their business goals. I’m excited to start this journey with DPDK, and can’t wait to see what lies ahead.”
