The Challenge

The previous website delivered an average user experience - the UI was convoluted, the colour scheme was uninspiring, and KW Kitchens were limited when presenting their kitchen projects.

We felt that these issues combined deterred some users from enquiring for a new kitchen and, therefore, a new website was required.

Our Solution

People take great pride in their kitchen and the way they look. Therefore - realising that this reflects on the quality of service - we placed great importance on the design of the new website, carefully crafting a modern UI that blends pastel hues with slick functionality. This conveys a certain level of professionalism and, in contrast to the previous greyscale website, brings some colour and style to the brand.

As an Umbraco Gold Partner, we integrated the website with the Umbraco 8 content management system. Here, KW Kitchens can easily create new pages via Umbraco’s Page Builder tool by placing content ‘blocks’ in any order they wish. We designed 11 custom blocks for the new website including a gallery, various text blocks, and a customer review block that pulls through reviews from Feefo in real-time.

A key decision-influencer for customers is being able to see a company’s previous work - this is undeniably important for kitchen installations. The new website gives KW Kitchens the opportunity to effectively showcase their latest projects - a selection of beautiful kitchen makeovers - giving users the confidence to enquire.
