Abbey Ireland & UK is one of the largest travel companies in the United Kingdom with offices located in London, Dublin and Edinburgh.

The Challenge

Abbey Ireland & UK required a new and uncomplicated B2B booking system engine with a new design interface. The previous system was old, overly complex and time-consuming for internal and external agents. Abbey Ireland & UK wanted to provide their agents with a system that allowed for the development of custom itineraries, payment capability, booking management options and lots of other features.

Solution

We developed a new, custom travel booking system that fulfils each of Abbey’s requirements including:

A flexible itinerary builder allowing agents to build custom packages with options for accommodation, tourist attractions, activities, transfers, and coach tours.
A search facility, a results pages with filter options, and a basket facility.
Payment integration.
Booking management with amendments, additions, and cancellation options.
Voucher generation.
An Umbraco content management system providing Abbey’s marketing team with lots of tools to create content.
