The Coca-Cola Co.

Time frame: Present

For the last six years Brand Culture's worked with Coca-Cola's Western Europe marketing team to deliver international promotional and shopper marketing entertainment-led campaigns that secure record-breaking levels of market and trade buy-in across future consumption, instant consumption and cinema channels. Depending on the project, we often act as the lead agency across the following workstreams: identifying film and game properties that will appeal to Coke's customers and consumers; negotiating the partnership; managing the relationship with the entertainment partner; developing the core campaign concept, creative and trade sell-in presentation; producing the market toolkit, containing all the assets markets will need to activate the campaign; and ongoing project management and guidance. Drawing on our understanding of the entertainment industries, we collaborate with Coke's other specialist agencies to advise on how to maximise the campaign's entertainment assets across channel, helping to ensure speedy approvals. Past campaigns we've worked on include Lara Croft, Hunger Games, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, FIFA eWorld Cup and consultancy on Coke's messaging around their sponsorship of the 2015 Rugby World Cup.

Johnson & Johnson

Time frame: Past

Our first campaign for Johnson & Johnson saw us working with their shopper and innovation teams to develop a retail-led promotion for Baby Wipes across 24 markets. Partnering them with the DVD release of Warner Brother's animation Storks, our 'For Adventures Big and Small' promotion invited consumers to claim an exclusive Storks soft toy when they purchased four packs of baby wipes. Our work also included on and off-pack creative, digital, toolkit development and market management. Following the success of the campaign, Johnson's Southern Europe team engaged us to secure a promotional license with a relevant entertainment property, which led us to negotiating a licensed deal with Universal Pictures and their Madagascar property. We developed seven exclusive pack designs across their entire range of kids bath time products, together with off-pack POS, and produced a market toolkit with additional activation ideas. We continue to advise Johnson's on entertainment-led strategies, identifying opportunities for them to secure that all-important incremental and off-shelf space through aligning with entertainment and lifestyle.
