Box UK retains ISO 9001:2015 accreditation

Enterprise software development company Box UK has retained its ISO 9001:2008 quality management certification after demonstrating high standards of process planning, application and monitoring to auditors from global assessment body ISO (the International Organization for Standardization).

Responsible for defining industry frameworks that help organisations safeguard business performance and customer satisfaction, ISO is the world’s largest developer of voluntary International Standards, giving state-of-the-art specifications for products, services and good practice, helping to make industry more efficient and effective.

Demonstrating a continued commitment to quality

ISO 9001 is one of the best-known standards developed by the assessment body, and sets out the criteria for a quality management system based on a number of principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, process approach and continual improvement.

Box UK has been accredited to the ISO 9001 standard since 2011 and also holds ISO 27001:2013 accreditation, which sets out requirements for a robust Information Security Management System (ISMS).

Supporting clients with exceptional solutions

“We’re very pleased to see our ISO 9001:2015 accreditation upheld for a further year,” commented Benno Wasserstein, Box UK’s Managing Director. “Quality sits at the heart of everything we do and is central to our ability to support our clients with powerful web and software solutions. Holding this accreditation is much more than a tick-box exercise to us, and our success in retaining ISO 9001:2015 demonstrates how we have embedded the quality management principles demanded by the standard into all levels of our process and culture.”
