About

Steve is an award winning and highly experienced Creative Director, with over 20 years of leading agency experience. Having started his career in 1998, straight out of University, Steve quickly worked his way up from designer to group creative head, working on large national and international brands such as BP, Wrigley’s, Olbas, Ferodo and Bausch and Lomb. 

Having gained 8 years experience and having worked his way up to a senior creative position within the largest marketing agency outside of London, he decided to take the position of Creative Director at another large national agency. It is here that he learned about the true importance of results and accountability within creative. Having learnt over 8 years how to create beautiful and eye catching design, he transferred this into other areas of communication such as online and press…notorious for a more competitive environment to get attention.

In 2008, Steve decided to join forces with a talented Media and Planning Director and start their own company, Bluesoup. Whilst here he has been responsible for many campaigns for a whole host of clients including The Eden Project, Ellis Brigham, Holiday Cottages/Travel Chapter, National Marine Aquarium, Tropical Sky and Journey Latin America. Not to be satisfied with staying in one area of expertise, Steve has created many successful campaigns across a whole lot of creative media. TV commercials, brand development, direct mail, web design, radio adverts are all part of his eclectic creative skills.

Outside of work he loves being a family man. With 2 kids under 10 he has his hands full. Apart from that he can occasionally be seen trying to keep the inevitable belly at bay….with varying success….
