AgencyUK has used the following skills/services in the project.
We were tasked by ThaiBev with creating a launch strategy in social and PR channels for Chang's new bottle in the UK. Our team also looked at ways of maximising the brand's existing sponsorship of the Everton FC premier league team.
We repositioned the new 'classic' lager as 'unforgettably Thai', and looked at fresh ways of communicating memorable experiences with a Thai twist. This led to us creating the 'Massage in a Bottle' stunt at London's Waterloo station, where tired commuters were given relaxing Thai massages inside a giant representation of the new green Chang bottle.
We also secured headline sponsorship of the critically acclaimed Mach Comedy Festival 2016 for Chang. We created a 'Green Room' experience for festival goers that foregrounded the new bottle and it's unforgettably Thai provenance.
We orgainsed a launch event for the trade and enlisted appearances from the Everton FC team. The players were also active on social media, and we created a series of popular memes featuring them. This activity gained great traction in tandem with Everton's FA Cup run.
