Nordic Semiconductors specialises in ultra-low power wireless chips for use in consumer electronics, such as wireless PC peripherals, gaming controllers, sports and fitness sensors, toys, and set-top box remotes. 4 Roads developed an online community which increased efficiency, replaced the existing ticketing system, streamlined the customer experience, increased customer support case deflection and enhanced user experience.

The British Dental Association

The British Dental Association (BDA) hosts the UK's largest annual dentistry conference, including over 150 exhibitors and 5,000 attendees. Its annual conference is a critical way of engaging members and generates significant revenue for the association. BDA teamed with Telligent partner 4 Roads to create a public event community that would support a social experience, bridging online and offline interactions. 4 Roads built an online community and implemented Chronos for advanced event management within the community for attendees to plan their schedules during the conference.

Cherwell Software

4 Roads has enabled Cherwell Software, a leading developer of IT service management software to adapt to their customers growing and changings needs. During a refresh of its marketing website, Cherwell also wanted to consolidate its other online destinations. These were an existing online community, online marketplace called the mApp Exchange, a global conference site, and private areas for partners and speciality groups. 4 Roads developed a new support community, which has doubled in growth and become a key component of Cherwell's customer strategy. The engaged and active membership has helped maintain Cherwell's high customer retention rate, increased sales, plus, provided full control of user data, never achieved before.

Dog.com

Dog.com is part of an extensive set of web properties owned by TABcom. The bare-bones community forum, segregated from the primary e-commerce site, and with little other social functionality other than member profiles, needed to be restored as a primary destination for dog owners worldwide, utilising a more up to date and relevant social platform. ? The Dog.com audience is passionate about their dogs. They like to connect with other likeminded dog lovers to seek guidance, advice and answers to the concerns they have about dog ownership. The challenge to the 4 Roads team was to influence and steer sales through engagement, plus recruiting new customers while retaining existing ones.

inbuilding

Inbuilding.org was developed for UK based architects and architectural technologists using the Telligent Community platform. The community is free to join, and the platform allows members to connect with their peers, share ideas and experiences within the architecture forums, advertise and browse jobs, catch up with the latest news, and showcase their work in the architecture galleries. Plus there's a collaborative diary of CPD training and other events for the profession. Inbuilding.org was originally built using a vanilla Telligent 5.0 site and theme, on a very limited budget. However, only ever a temporary measure, Working Communities decided to invest in developing the platform further, to include a more contemporary, sophisticated look and more robust and varied functionality. If successful, the platform would later be rolled out to the veterinary audiences.

Working Communities specialises in building and maintaining online communities for professional audiences, of which VetSurgeon.org and Vetnurse.co.uk are two. In a UK industry of an estimated 14,000?practicing?vets, VetSurgeon.org?has over 12,500 members with over 150,000 page visits every month. Developed by digital partner 4Roads, these online communities are now leading websites for UK veterinary professionals. Both have two key objectives: to be an effective platform to market products and services to veterinary surgeons, and to make a real difference to the lives of those in the profession.

Kaido Wellbeing

Kaido Wellbeing is a corporate wellbeing solution, which is powered by Kaido, a revolutionary 'insights platform,' and developed by 4 Roads. The partnership between 4 Roads and Kaido form a ground breaking digital heath business. Kaido Wellbeing is setting a new standard for internal employee wellbeing and has been born out of a perfect marriage between the technical capabilities of 4 Roads, and advanced technology provided by Kaido.

The British Medical Association (BMA) was founded in 1832 and is the trade union and professional body for doctors and medical students in the UK. In a time of extraordinary change in the medical profession, it was necessary for the BMA to upgrade its digital properties to enable it to meet the changing needs of its membership. 4 Roads was asked by digital agency Precedent to help develop the BMA's community website so doctors and medical students could more easily connect with peers and share information in a safe and secure environment.
