One of Partners’ two owners, Karen draws on 20 years’ experience to plan and deliver strategic communications support for clients in professional services, food processing, business support, education and manufacturing industries, as well as communications activity surrounding mergers, acquisitions and buyouts, leading on new business generation within the business and running PR and marketing training.
 
Karen currently chairs the global International Public Relations Team PR network, through which she coordinates international campaigns. She is a York Professionals board director and a member of the Brighter Future committee, established to raise awareness of collaborative family law in the north of England. 
 
She volunteers as a mentor for charities and social entrepreneurs, and recently joined the York Blind and Partially Sighted Society's fundraising and marketing committe to help create and implement a communications strategy for the charity.
