Space City was founded in 1992 by former BBC and ITV News producer, Victor van Amerongen. Initially producing TV commercials for SMEs, the company has remained in the same facility in Hammersmith, but has subsequently produced more commercials than any other UK company, being named the UK's number one producers of TV commercials by Televisual Magazine.

Notwithstanding TV, Space City produces radio and online commercials for clients spanning myriad industries, continuing to deliver the most success of any production company or agency per-member-of-staff - being named the Best Local Employer in Hammersmith, Fulham and Shepherd's Bush in 2017.

After producing the debut advertising creatives for Moonpig, GoCompare and MoneySupermarket, Space City has forged its reputation for delivering instant and long-term results for companies from the financial services to e-commerce sector.
