The strategist behind the launch of Remarkable Content, an agency team dedicated to creating content that demands to be shared, Julius is a marketing and communications specialist with over 20 years’ experience as a journalist and communications consultant.

It is this background in journalism that has driven Julius throughout his career as he moved to the ‘dark side’ of agency; the belief in story-telling to bring a brand to life and engage with audiences, long before it became the keyword in pitches the world over.

Starting out as a business journalist with the Financial Times Group in 1995, Julius jumped the fence into PR joining Finsbury in 1999. Since leaving Finsbury in 2005 Julius has held Director level positions at a number of agencies including the world's largest PR company, Edelman, and social brand specialist agency, Headstream. Here he was Project Director for the Social Brands 100 ranking (www.socialbrands100.com) now the leading benchmark for performance in social spaces, identifying the dominant brands and providing a snapshot of social media’s evolution year on year.

Clients Julius has worked with include large UK and global companies such as Shell, RSA, BT, Aviva, Taylor Wimpey, BBC, Thames Water, Anglo American, the Environment Agency, and Virgin.

At Remarkable Julius has overseen the full content strategy development for Zurich Municipal and the award-winning story-telling behind the corporate re-brand of Ordnance Survey. Julius is also listed in PRWeeks Powerbook 2016, the definitive guide to the brightest and most influential PR professionals in Britain. It features more than 350 names from the worlds of agency and in-house PR.

 

A member of the PRCA, CMA and IAB, Julius is a regular speaker at industry events with his expertise lying in content creation, digital, and social media at a strategic and tactical level.
