Ben Dansie is CEO of Omobono. His role is to drive innovation both within the company and on behalf of clients. He believes there is huge opportunity for corporate brands that focus on two core dynamics – people and platforms.

Ben has particular expertise in financial services, professional services, manufacturing and hi-tech. He has won many awards including a much coveted Webby, is a member of the CBI’s business council and is happy to speak whenever invited. He is also a regular visitor to the US. This year, Omobono also won a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade.

After a stint in Hong Kong, Ben worked for below-the-line specialist Claydon Heeley on brands including Pepsi, Ford and PG Tips (he swears he never wore a chimp suit). This taught him that marketing should have no boundaries. In 2001 Ben started Omobono with his two co-founders and the agency now has offices across the UK and in the US. 

Ben has lived and worked in Asia (Sydney, Hong Kong and Tokyo) and returned in 2013 to train B2B marketers in Shanghai and Tokyo. He owns a tin boat and an apple press, and welcomes advice on teenage daughters.
