James blends strategic consultancy, creative thinking and digital nous to help clients solve their communications needs. As Head of Digital, James has overall responsibility for the delivery of truly integrated content-led digital solutions. 

He started his career at IBM in a technical role and went to become a founding member of Bite Communications responsible for digital & creative strategy and output. James played a key role in the business’s success and it grew from four people to hundreds based across four offices. Whilst at Bite, James also set up and managed Bullet Online, the agency’s digital division which was a great success and led to James being crowned PR Week Young Achiever of the Year in 2000.

He then joined Weber Shandwick growing to become their Head of Digital for EMEA and the Chief Creative Officer for Digital Worldwide, where he was directly involved in winning multiple award-winning campaigns. He’s also been cited by PR week as one of the most influential people in digital in the UK.
